CD Player options for a bumpy ride
Posted on the 4x4 board, thought I'd post here, too
I just got some cash for my b-day to buy a new CD player for my truck. Currently I have a cassette deck. Question is, my truck rides pretty rough 'cause the suspension is so stiff. I'm afraid the CD will skip w/ every bump I hit on the road. Do any of you have a CD player that spins true thru the bumps? Of course, I don't expect precision on the trail, but for the normal roads and freeway driving, what'll work w/out skipping? Looking in the $150 - $200 range, CD-R/RW compatable, MP3 maybe, no changer, nuthin' real fancy, just the dash unit (dash is already cut for a DIN). Thanks...
