Fuel Line Help

Hey Guys, i kinked my metal line going to my edelbrock 1901 carb. on my 327, i want to replace it with a steel braided line and a inline filter(from the fuel pump to the carb.) My question is, how do AN fittings work with steel braided lines, do they thread into the line or clamp? Also can anyone help me pick the right parts or suggest something good? Thanks Guys, Kyle
