that's what I think too. when I had my plugs set at .035, it was dog slow, and had really bad gas mileage. when I asked at o'reilly what the plug gap should be, they said it should be set at .060. i also looked on the internet, and most people said to set it at .045. so i set it at .045. it runs better, and has better gas mileage. next time, i am going to try it at .060, just to see if i see a difference.
