1964 LWB Fleetside build, STARTED!
Well, after having the truck for almost 2 years now Im just now starting to tear it down for a rebuild. Plan is 3in Z in the front, with 83 model disk brake front end, 2 1/2 in drop spindles, and a SD 4link out back, with a 9in. Bags are slam specialties. Truck will lay frame when Im done. Keeping the 230 6cyl and putting a 200R4 behind it. Truck needs some body work, but not too too bad. This will be a long build as my job calls me away at any time and I stay pretty busy.
![]() ![]() Thats the worst part of the bed, going to take a lot of work. ![]() Both corners of the hood have mud. ![]() Both fenders are rotted and full of bondo. One side even was full of steel wool under the bondo! ![]() Both doors have been swung open too far, Ive got 2 dent free doors. ![]() 230 still runs like a top! ![]() Wiring will be fun! ![]() Heres how it sits today. ![]() And the steelwool/bondo! ![]() More to come as it gets done!
