63 panhard bar

Hi all,

Im a long time reader of the site but this is my first post....so here I go. In the process of working up a 63 short fleet. I just got ahold of some nice donor parts from a 80 1/2 ton in which I got the whole front end for a complete brake and steering upgrade. Anyways, I am planning on bring the rear of the truck down 6in. using some of ECE lowered springs etc. However they are telling my that I can not go that low with my 63 cuz of the parhard bar set up. I guess the 65-72's are different. What gives? I understand the geometry problem with lowering. But they are saying that there super adjustable panhard bar still will not work with my 64. Can anyone point out and/or post some pics of the differences in these years for where the bar hooks to the frame and axle?

Thanks for helpin the new guy out!
