New from California...

Hi, I've been lurking on here for the last 2weeks researching mostly '67-'72 trucks. I ended up buying a '73 Cheyenne 3/4 ton last Sunday for $800. It's a pretty good truck, bit of a small ongoing project. It has a 454, 2 years old, TH400 Auto, full floater axle, factory heavy springs. Immediate plans are 35" tires, misc lil things like window cranks, hooking up gas gauge, reconnecting factory oil pressure, ammeter etc. Long range plans are 4x4.

I had a '78 3/4 ton Custom Deluxe about 9 years ago, I beat the crap outta it for awhile and never had any problems.

Anyway, this site is great and has a lot of experience and knowledge!
