tilt steering columns
I had originally posted a thread in the 47-59 section (I have a 52 Chevy) about tilt steering columns that would basically bolt right in (has a 2" column tube diameter). Someone had posted that they used a column out of a 68 Chevy Pickup, which bolted in using the stock upper column mount. Though theirs was not tilt, they mentioned that one with tilt may bolt up the same.
My question for all you 67-72 owners and fanatics is, I have seen many tilt columns w/ column shifts but I haven't seen any tilt columns for floor shift trucks (at least looking at project pictures on here, have yet to hit the salvage yards). Is there such a thing or was tilt only for trucks with column shift. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...ghlight=column Thanks!
