Big Block in a 1950 Truck?
Hi, I need some input on installing a big block in my 1950 Chevy truck.
I have already boxed the frame and installed an x member for strength, the back half of the frame has been redone for a pro street set up. Mustang II front end installed, *****in firewall and floorpans also. I am going to install a 496 stroker with a Edelbrock duel carb set up. What problems am I facing as far as dist. clearance at the firewall, header clearance with the mustang II front end, frame, motor mount location. I will be installing an electric cooling fan to help with the cooling so that gains me a little room to work with. Any help, advise and pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Renegade Last edited by renegade8720; 11-24-2008 at 07:19 AM. |
