New Guy in NM

Greetings,

I have a '55 2nd Series, deluxe cab, small window 3100 that is a family hand-me-down, purchased new in early 1955 by my uncle. It was built in Los Angeles in Jan. 1955 and was originally equipped with an I-6 and Hydramatic. I am in the process (very slow) of doing a frame up with MII front suspension, trailing arm coil spring rear suspension with a 12 bolt from a '64 C-10 with upgrades, and for power a stroked 348 (427 ci) and a TKO600. I got the truck from my father, he got it from his younger brother, who inherited it from their older brother (original owner).
