What ever happened to Dayton tools?
I have an old Dayton belt grinder. Its really my favorite tool. This thing will cut a 2x4 in half in no time with a fresh belt. It makes childs play of grinding and cutting metal. The grinder also has a table and belt backing plate. I added a spring to the belt tensioner. It really was not nessesary. I've had it for a long time. Originally I had belts made for it locally. My local supplier is gone now. I have found another supplier. I searched Dayton tools for info on my machine. There's nothing out there. Does anyone have any back ground on Dayton? Were they bought out or just quit? My machine is a Dayton 6Z117A.
