Hello- new here

Hi! Just wanted to say hi to you all. I am a Iowa mom of a 17 year old Chevy/GMC nut. We also enjoy going to truck shows & hope to get into that one of these days. We have been lurking around here reading all the interesting posts. They have been very helpful. My son is in the process of getting an 81 GMC running again. He had an 92 GMC- but loves the looks of the older trucks. He found this one & the previous owners said all it needed was a transmission. HA! It has been a long ordeal & lots of part replacements. Come to find out this truck has been flooded- (literally in a pond), & then sat for 4-5 years. But ya know how it is- when you see something- you just have to have it- that is what it is for him. It is a gorgeous red with the clear coat coming off & it has a lift kit on it. On down the line we plan to restore to original. It is eye catching & once it is done it will hopefully be a truck he'll treasure for a while. Can't wait to chat with you all & learn a few things!!
