Question New guy with defrost trouble

Hello guys, I have a 2000 Silverado that has a new issue that I have noticed since the weather turned cold. In previous years I could start the truck let it warm and defrost the windshield fairly quickly, now the defrost air never seems to get warm or as warm as the heater air. It will however somewhat work after the truck is driven, but I basically have no defroster.
I have replaced the thermostat and made sure the coolant is at the proper level and now kind of suspect a problem with a blend door, vacuum or electronics.
Anybody have any thoughts?

Rex
