carburator troulble, '81 malibu 2 barrel
I have an '81 Malibu, 82,000 original miles, 6 cyl, 2 barrel. Three times now lately it has flooded with fuel into the engine and into the oil from gas that free flows from the carburator. I tried to start it but it stalled out after running about a minute. Then it would not restart. When I took the cover off the air cleaner I could see gas going into it. Why would it do this?
