steering box recommendations?
had this question buried in another thread
Any idea on good rebuilt steering boxes? I'm on my 3rd one and not happy. I ordered an AGR but they make them only for 4 wheel drive or "after market crossover steering " whatever that is. It had a different spline for the pitman arm. So with it all apart, I just went to NAPA and got a rebuilt 76 variable rate box. It worked great for a few months but now has a bunch of slack in it. Borgenson remanufactures them (pretty pricey)... anyone go that route; suggestions? https://www.borgeson.com/POWER%20STE...ACEMENTS.html# SAGINAW 700 VARIABLE RATIO BOX Remanufactured OEM Saginaw 700 variable ratio boxes are available. Enjoy the Benefits of a quick ratio for easy parking and low speed cruising, plus the benefit of a slower ratio for highway driving. Outside frame mount truck boxes also available. All Mullins steering boxes have a 3-year warranty. |
