Can you tell me what year my Sub is?

Hi,
Can someone tell me how to identify the year of my Suburban? I was told it was a 47 when I bought it, but since I bought it on a b.o.s., I would like to be able to confirm it. If someone can tell me by serial #, it's 5GP-F13851, or any other things that can identify what year it is, I would greatly appreciate it. If you need pics, please email me at bennauto@yahoo.com and I'll send some to you. BTW, it's definitely between 1947 and 1953.
