HEI Distributor part

After reading the above article, I decided to try rebuilding my distributor.
Bought a junk one so I wouldn't be stranded. They never mentioned the little
plastic shield that goes on the pole piece just before the shaft goes into the housing. I destroyed mine during cleaning, because I didn't know it was there. I'm not sure if it keeps stuff out of the distributor, or stuff from the distributor from falling down and getting lodged between the shaft and the
housing. Anyone have any idea where I can get one ?
