Is my carb bad.. info please

i have been doing typical rust repair on my truck..tore it all apart thanksgiving break... syphened gas out to put in my eclipse so it wouldnt go bad... so like two weeks ago i put 5 gallons in the tank..fired her up let her run for twenty minutes shut her off..syphened the gas... then saturday (12-27) i put the tank back in put 5 more gallons of gas in..fired right up let it run for twenty minutes ran fine....then tonight i fired her up to move it to the spot to cut rockers out and it runs so horrible i have to keep my foot in the throttle or it will die... even had the foot in it for ten minutes..still didnt fix it...shot carb cleaner down carb..didnt fix it... floored it and when i let off it would die... and when i let off slowly it stays alive but it run so horrible...
