Head questions? would 3782461 heads work well on my 307? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I have a 307 in my 82 shortbox. I want a little more performance out of it. I have an edlebrock intake and carb, headers, and a mild cam. I want to upgrade the heads next. I have found a set with casting 461 and I am wondering if it is worth getting the heads rebuilt (valve job) and if anyone could recomend what machine work should be done to these heads. I have never swapped out heads and am not sure of the cost involved. Can anyone help me out here?
