79 Big 10 lowering

ok, this past week, I have been messing around with ride hieght on my 79. It is a Big 10. I removed some leafs in the rear, and put on 2" drop coils. The rear is way to loosy goosy right now, planning to add back in the thicker leaf and remove another.

My question falls with the front end. Is the Big 10 not a "3/4 ton" coil spring? Sitting 1.5 - 2" higher than a non heavy half? So putting the 2" drop coils on, it only dropped 1.5-2"..... Whats the deal with that?

If my truck sits 1.5-2" higher in the front than a non heavy half, wouldn't a 2" drop coil put me down at least 2.5-3"?

The first picture is a before, and the second is current.
Is it possible that a Big 10 has a spindle that sat the truck up a little higher? What are your thoughts?
