Rear winch install finally - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Well, it took long enough to finally get a winch for the rear bumper that has already been on the truck for 3 years.

It is nothing too special of a winch but better than nothing and a lot stronger and faster than the old Hickey Sidewinder that is on the front. My wife asked what I wanted for Christmas and I said, well there is this winch on sale...

4WP had these Smittybilt XCR10’s on sale for $399 so it was my belated Christmas present that the UPS man dropped off today. Good wife.

It is nice to finally see a cable and hook poking out of the fairlead!
