Excellent find!!!
I was able to go home this weekend from college to see my family and girl. My dads been scouting trucks and we found one. Its a 1972 Chev. 4wd. Equipment includes a posi rear, np205, 3.07s front and rear, locking hubs, good disc brakes, almost perfect front sheet metal, except the drivers fender. Perfect dash and radio(Possibly for sale!). Thing is it doesnt have an engine and the tranny is blown up. Good thing is i paid 500 for it and i have a good 327 to go in it. I have a good turbo 350 long tailshaft. I have a few questions. While replacing the tailshaft what all is invloved. I know that it has to be completely taken apart. Im new to the automatic game, im was a manual man. I am also looking for a few more parts, including the crate grill that goes in a 72. Mine needs one. Im taking the grill gaurd thats on it off and does someone have a bumper with turnsignals in it for a 72. I would also be interested in the front and rear leaf springs. What have you guys done to yours. The springs are a little worn out. Just wanting a little help and to share the good news. I still have a parts truck. You can email me with some requests for stuff. nt_expert@hotmail.com
