Wish I would have found this thread a year ago! I could have had him over for dinner, or had someone to go fishing with up here in Rolla. Only 25 minutes from Ft. Wood and drive by it all the time when I go see my mom.
Spent 9 1/2 years in the Corps myself and 2 of those in Yuma. I ABSOlUTELY LOVED IT THERE. Just make sure he doesn't have a black car with broken A/C like I did. It gets HOT there!!  Tell your son congrats and thank him for his service.
