Need some help here, please..

The time has finally come for me to replace the dead 700R4 in my truck. I'm going to be swapping it with a short tail TH350 which is 3" shorter. When I called to check the prices to have my driveshaft lengthened, they quoted me a price around $200 to have the work done. But, since the LWB driveshafts are longer, having one cut down will be far cheaper.. about $35. Does anyone have a measurement of a LWB shaft they can give me so I can hunt one up in a yard? And maybe the width of the yoke on the welded end? I've got a 10-bolt rear, if that helps..
Thanks!
