What transmission gasket / filter question
I'm going to replace my gasket and thought I'd put a fresh filter in too.
Apparently there are a couple different styles of filters. screen type and felt. What is better? The gaskets had a couple of choices too. One was a rubberized cork (felpro) and one was just flat rubber (NAPA). I'm looking for a good non-leaking seal, and the cork that's on it now seems to be seeping. (it looks alot thicker than the ones I've seen at the store) Any suggestions/tips? Thanks, s/t
