x pipe ideas....

I saved this picture from someone on here, it look really clean to me but not sure if it would be too restrictive.
Now that I have my 2.5 in x-pipe and have looked at my situation this setup is more appealing.
It allows the pipes to use the factory recessed areas to tuck up the pipes so they wont be as visible.
I'm thinking 1.5 in pipes on a 383 aren't restrictive by any means so a few more bends won't be noticeable?
My x isn't quite like that in the picture, so I'll try to substitute 45's in place of the 90's.

What do you think?
