differential rebuild
Hey all,
I am researching a change in gearing, 3.08 (2 or 3 series carrier) to 3.73 (4 series carrier). Got a 76 c10, 350/350. 1st question is; can I simply pull the cover, pull the axles, take out the old R&P and put in the 3.73 R&P? Or is there more to this? 2nd questions; I do want it to be a posi unit too. Is gear driven better over clutch? Anyone had specific experience with the gear over clutch choice? thanks in advance.
