What options for steering coluum?

I was wondering what my options would be on a coluum? I see the new ones are $500 and up and was hopeing that there was a scrap yard solution. Truck has a 77 camaro front clip in it with powersteering... But a terrible looking coluum...

Would liek to get one from a car to put in it but do not have a clue what to look for... A 500 dollar coluum is not in the budget right now.. You can see somewhat of what it is in the truck now below... The ad on turn signal box does nothing for me... Truck is an suto...
