Bucket Seat Foam Repair
I have a set of '67-'68 buddy buckets which need some foam repair on the corner and I have a few questions:
1) My Camaro Restoration Handbook recommends using rebond foam (see a picture here: http://www.diymotorcycleseat.com/foam_types.htm) for repairs. Has anyone worked with this stuff or something else that they could recommend? Where can I buy rebond foam (mail order)? Foam from the local hobby shop is probably too soft? 2) Cutting and shaping the foam seems simple enough (scissor, carving knife, serrated knife, flap sand disk, etc). 3) For attaching the foam patch, I've read recomendations on contact cement, 3M 74 spray adhesive, or 3M 77 spray adhesive. Has anyone used these?
