Headliners Looking for info!

Hey guys I am wanting to do a headliner in my 72 Tahoe and want it up tight to the roof bows. I am not really wanting a suspended style but more of the new molded type. Do any of you have something like this or info on doing one?

Here are my thoughts to get the right shape. I am thinking of doing it in fiber glass and starting by coating the roof top in plastic or mold release. Then glass over that with a few thin layers of glass and mat. Then trim it down so it will fit up tight in the Tahoe. I have never done one like this but it sounds like I can make it work well or so I think.

Any thoughts or ideas?
