Looky what I'm getting boys and girls!!!
1972 Chevy Cheyenne, 402BB, TH400, 3.07 posi, 85,000 original miles, one owner, completely original except for 8" rally wheels and an Alpine deck. The owner still has those and are included in the sale. Neither the engine nor transmission have ever needed any major work. It runs like a top and will break the rear meats loose if you kick it down around 40 mph. I have known this truck and the owner since 1981 and ever since then I have coveted it. I have always told him that if he ever sold it I wanted the first crack. Well now it's going to be mine. I am so pumped!!! It's like a dream come true! My plans immediate plans are to install headers and a slightly more agressive exhaust. I'm also going to put some 275/60/R15 meats on those 8" rally wheels. Long range I intend to rake it with either a 2/4 or a 4/6 kit from Early Classic Enterprises and maybe add some 15" Cragar SS's or some American Racing 17" wheels. I have a few questions though. What headers are best for this motor, shorties or long tubes? Should the exhaust be 2", 2.5", 3" or some combination there of? Thanks for the help!!!
