WIW 72 chevy cheyenne

hey guys i noticed a neighbor about a mile away had a rotted out 72 chey on the side of his house, well he just put a 4sale sign on the window and i may be interested in it as parts, just want to get a idea if it is worth it. it is COMPLETLY rotted i mean when i opend the gate the pass bed side almost fell off drip rail, what drip rail lol. ok so you get the idea that it is rotted. all the stainless is in decent shape orig v8 auto with factory air. everything related to the a/c is there. basickly i just want it for the a/c and i may keep the frame and suspension so i can atemp to do my first z and bridge the rear. he was asking 1200 ( must of just pulled out his pipe) but after a month i offerd him 400 and he said to give him till this sat to think about it. i am hard up for cahs so do you think parting out the good stainless and a few other odds and ends i may get my 4 back out of it? sorry for no pictures and i figured id ask on here cause this is where i will atempt to sell the parts off it and you guys know what these things are worth. oh yea it does have a nice grill and great driver front bumper on it to.
