difference between 71 and 69 c10?

As mentioned in an earlier topic I imported a 71C10 truck into Holland a few months ago. Now I have trouble with the department of transportation because the inspectors doubt if my VIN is correct. They found a sticker with a different VIN number in the glove box door then the VIN on the tag in my door post and on the title. The one in the glove box door says the truck is from 69 and I will have to convince them it is a 71 and not a 69 as the VIN number in the glovebox door says.

Now my question is if you guys can tell me if a 71 truck has specific differences with a 69 truck which are not interchangable. So f.a. is it at all possible to put a 71 front in a 69 truck, or change the lights on the fenders from the 69 to 71 lights, or put disc brakes on a 69 truck. Because I know disc brakes only came on trucks from 71 and later.
Or if you have other things that can prove 100% that it is a 71 and not a 69 truck.

I would like to add some pictures but cannot find out how that works. Maybe some other time !!

Thanks for all information !!

Anton.
