Hi to all my fellow chevy owner's. i got a 1979 sottdale shortbed 5.7 liter auto. by the way i got it free, all i had to do was put tires on it . ive been driving it for about 4 months. now i need to put a transmisson in it. i do have sum ????

1 if i get a B&M overhaul kit will it work for my truck ?

3 what is the best or were can i find , good lowering parts at ?
i need to get a 2in drop on her/ no bags i dont have that kind of $$
