Look what arrived in my driveway an AZ 72 K5

You gotta love shippers with fast service. I bought this from Mike in December, I didnt want to drive it in the salt so he kept her for me till Wednesday. he delivered the truck to a Flying J in Winslow AZ and it was on the road 6pm local time 9 pm EST. i got a call yesterday at 4:20 pm (43 hrs later) and it was the truck driver with my new project (toy) Talk about fast I didnt expect it till next week. Had to do some basic tune up stuff to the carb to get her to run decent .... the truck lived at 6000 ft and I live at 300 ft above sea level... so I leaned the carb out and reset the mixture, retarded the timing to 4 BTDC and adjusted the idle to 700... she fires right up! purrs with no back fires and no toxic fumes!!!! and its a 454!!!!
