Gas tank options

The most common seems to be installing a blazer/suburban tank, but what other ones have people used that fit well and are easily found? I know about the custom tanks also, but I'm thinking about regular car or truck tanks.

Anybody ever use some kind of poly tank? What was it from? Any problems with the conversion? Can a tank that had an in-tank fuel pump be used without that pump for normal carb use? I want something underneath, but would use a saddle tank too if there is one that fits well.

Any opinions or ideas are welcome.
