Heater core replacements...

After much research and tinkering, I decided it was time to tackle the heater core that was leaking in my 69 with factory A/C. Every topic I read said that the inner fender must be dropped to make things easier. This is not the case. Here is how I did things.

1) Removed glovebox door and cardboard.
2) Unhooked vents and such from inside.
3) Removed hoses to heater core.
4) Removed the 4 retainer nuts and 1 bolt holding the A/C and fan on the firewall
5) Removed heater core box.
6) New heater core goes in.
7) Bolt it back up, in reverse.

Now... Unfortunately, the heater core I got from Vatozone was a dud. It was leaking from both the input and output. I started the truck to check for leaks, and had a monsterous puddle in the cab foor and shop floor within 10 minutes. Every topic that I saw said this is a 45 minute to 1.5 hour job. I did it in 45 minutes the first time, an I just pulled the whole thing apart in 10 minutes the second time. I haven't put it back together yet because I haven't gotten a new core yet. Just giving everyone a little backup info here incase they are having issues.
