Building an engine:

I have a 72 C-20 that I just posted about. It came with the factory 350. Will this a be a 2 bolt or a 4 bolt main?

As I build this truck over the next several years I want the chance to show it. I want a truck that looks like a very sweet original restoration job, with a little custom, but a lot of throat and power when teh peddle on the right is punched. I have someone who will do the labor for virtually free (I am donating some hours to his sprinkler system). How well can I build a motor for $3000, how much better can I build it for $4000?

That the first step in this build. Just want my truck running strong then will worry about the pretty things later.

Should I consider taking hte black and converting it inot a 383 stroker?
