New '72 Cheyenne Super Owner!
Howdy! I just picked her up last night. 1972 Chevy Cheyenne Super 4x4 long bed with a 350 auto. '67-'72 GM pickups are my all-time favorite and my other truck is my second favorite. I feel pretty fortunate to have been able to buy both just before I hit 30 years old. My Ford is fairly close to being done and my Chevy is a daily driver that I can work on at the same time. I love both of my babies! I'm an amateur when it comes to mechanics but that'll change pretty soon with the Chevy. I'm very particular about my vehicles and I don't even let someone else change my oil.
I'm active duty Air Force. Been in 10 1/2 years and spent the last 7 years in Contracting (acquisition/purchasing anything and everything). Planning on being a lifer and I'll seal the deal when I deploy this summer and reenlist again. ![]() Can anyone tell me what made the Cheyenne Super different from other Chevy trucks? It still has most of the wood grain pieces but some need to be replaced, among other things. The site looks great and has great info. Thanks!
