Smile Hello From Lockeford California!

Hi everyone,
I decided to do a father-son project with my oldest son,(Mikey) now 17. We bought my father-in-laws old ranch truck a 68 Chevy C10 stepside not long after my father-in-law passed away. It is a L6 run with a propane tank conversion. We actually started a couple of years ago with a frame of restoration. We replaced the L6 with 283, droped the front 2" with springs and back 4" with coil springs. Found a 71 front end clip and switched the front brakes to disc. We are in the process of moving the gas tank to the rear of the vehicle. We are keeping it 6 lug. No tranny yet, we are still in the process of locating one. I can't think of any better way to spend time with your kids and having them learn something in the process. It has been time well spent. We have a long way to go, but we are shooting for this summer to get it on the road. Wish us luck...Thanks for looking in and God bless,

Michael
