is it ok to run 3" springs?

i've been reading through some old threads, and it seems like most dont recommend using the 3" springs with lowering the truck

i already ordered 2.5" WC spindles, and was wanting to use 3" springs in the front for a total of 5.5" front, and rear a 5" DJM flip kit, with a 2" drop shackle for a total of 5.5/7

should i go with 2.5" springs instead? or will my front end "geometry" be ok? thanks
