Updated vs Old School Rolling Stock?
I know this is a personal choice that varies wildly but we were discussing wheel/tire choice on a 64-66 'patina' short fleet. Some 18/20" TT2's are available (used, but already paid for).
It's a tough call . . .... The TT2's are the belly-button wheels of choice because they do look nice & appeal to many. Would you use the 'free' TT2's or buy some 'new' old school type 15" wheels/tires? Steelies? Although Bentfabs truck has 17's & 20's, I feel they're close enough to an 18/20 combo to be a good example. C10Addicts has 15x6's & 8's . . ....
