I suggest sitting down with your father and developing a plan of attack. By doing so, you will have some direction and a method to track your progress and budget. Pirior to starting a project, big or small, I make a detailed list of my goals and prepare a conservative estimate of the costs of each item.

In the end, this game plan will keep you on course and give you a sense of accomplishment along the way. Good luck to you and your father on this project and remember to post early and often, especially photos.
