Got the Front Clip Off - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I started the tear down of my 70. I got the front clip off and I think the frame looks good. There doesn't appear to be much rust at all. The passenger fender, inner fender and core support are toast. The PO had a leaking battery and the acid rotted out huge chunks.

This is why I love CA cars. The rockers appear to be solid as well as the cab floor. (From what I can see)

This is appears to be the worst part and in the other pic you see holes where the PO drilled in some "aftermarket" side view mirrors.
