New style wheels

Here's a question. I know this came up before to some degree but I can't find that thread.

I have access to a nice set of 20" wheels off a 200x Tahoe (6-lug).
Correct me if I am wrong but the newer style wheels (88+) have a different offset so they would sit in too far on a 73-87 truck?

I am going to convert my CC to 1/2ton suspension and already have a 6-lug rear with newer 3.73 gears and an eaton posi.
I also thought I had read that ECE or someone like that made a 6-lug rotor aimed at the 67-72 guys that convert their front suspension to the 73-87 style parts.

Could I use the ECE 6-lug rotors, my existing 6-lug rear-axle and some spacers to mount these wheels on my truck?
