New Seat Belts
Well, after pulling out the seat and original belts, we installed the 3 point belts that were supposed to fit the truck, but the female ends are too long and when you cinch things up tight, the buckle ends up in the middle of your lap instead of over to the inside close to the seat. The shoulder belt doesn't run across the torso like it should either. I'll probably have to take them to an upholstery shop and have the cut down and re sewn. If I put the driver's male into the passenger female and vice versa, they fit pretty good, but the retractors are all the way out and there is no room to lean forward to get to the heater controls etc... At least we were able to put the seat in with eight brand new bolts instead of the TWO old bolts that had been holding it in. Just wanted to vent a bit. Thought it was all going to go great, but you know how these things are.
