Lightbulb want your guys's opinion

OK, so I have an 88 GMC 3+3 dually. The truck is missing all the emblems? The title says GMC so I'm going with that. I am having a lot of problems finding emblems, fender, cab ect. I know the originals are the plastic type mounted lower on the fender and cab. I really love the 70's metal emblems they have so much class. I'm thinking of putting the 70's emblems on the truck, of course I won't find a Sierra Classic 35 metal fender emblem, but I can find High Sierra 35 emblems. What do you guys think? Would an 80's pickup look bad with 70's emblems? Anyone who knows their trucks would know right away the emblems were not orignal to the truck, would I look like a dork with the wrong emblems?
