Re: 66 Pickup original gas tank: pros and cons

Well I plan on putting my in cab tank in the bed and build a "box" for it. Kind of like a trunk in the front of the bed. I got my truck and the guy had put in a brand new tank in and I can't see spending @$300 to put it under my truck when I plan on slamming it to the ground. I think the trunk in the bed idea is the way I will go.
