SHOWDOG Registered User Join Date: Jul 2005 Location: ATASCADERO Posts: 48	Cross shaft question Well, after several years of tearing down,grinding and painting my 67 SS frame,I'm trying to put everything back together. I bought new lower control arm cross shafts and can't recall why there is a dimple in each shaft. Any help would be appreciated. Showdog
