Hesistating V8

Hey everyone my truck has been hesistating ever since i got it. it only does this when i start it until its warmed up. Also it only does it at low rpm, as soon as the truck gets moving, its fine. its a stock smog equipped 305v8 with a 700r4 transmission. once its warmed up, it drives perfectly fine. heres what happens. i press the gas and the engine actually cuts out like does not fire for a second and bogs down. i then feather the gas pedal and once it starts moving a little faster it stops hesistating. so this is what is happening but only at low rpm like when you are stopped and as soon as you start to press the gas, immediate hesistation. what you all think? thanks
