New guy/truck

Just wanted to say Hi.

I just signed up today. I bought a 72 Cheyenne LWB 1/2 ton last weekend in Wash state. Driving it home it was cruisin like a dream. 350 +/- miles into the trip, I look down and the oil pressure gauge that read nice and high for 300+ miles was pegged (the wrong way). By the time I could get off the road (traffic), clickety-click turned into clackety-clack. AAA and a cell phone and at the next exit gas station, no amount of fresh oil in the empty crankcase would cure it. I'm heading out from Denver Friday after work with a rented Ford E350 van to haul it back from Pendleton OR. I know what it's gonna look like, a Ford pullin a Chevy... but I just want to get it home.

72 PICS
